What causes the network timeout and how do I resolve this?
The installation failing between 88% and 95% is a known problem. The camera is experiencing difficulties finding the right network. The WiFi signal that the camera broadcasts, to connect the camera to your phone, does not contain internet. Telephones/tablets might look for another network on wich they do have access to the internet. As a result, your phone might connect to your WiFi network or with 3G/4G without showing. This disrupts the communication with the camera which results in the installation not being able to complete.

In order to make the installation run as smoothly as possible, it is best to already connect your phone/tablet to your home network (to which the camera should also be connected). This network will automatically be filled in in the SW360 app during installation.
Reset the camera by holding the reset button for at least 10 seconds. After this, wait for two minutes so the camera has time to restart. During the reset, the network cable must be disconnected. Follow the installation again as described in the manual. Now the installation should be able to complete for 100%. The reset button can be found with on the back of your camera or at one of the ends of the cable. In both examples, the reset button is indicated by number 6. |
