Your camera encrypts all data in realtime, and then transports this through a secure tunnel directly to your phone where it is unencrypted to be viewed. Because our cameras have powerful hardware there is no need for an NVR (Network Video Recorder) to encode and stream. All data is safely stored inside the camera on the local memory or SD card. (Or Homewizard link when integrated) This also means your camera doesn't stop recording when the local network connection fails. When using geofencing your set location (coordinates) will be shared with the HomeWizard servers.

Camera encrypts

The camera encrypts data in real time before it is transferred/streamed. In order for your phone to unencrypt the stream your account has a unique generated key from configuration. Because of this it can not be unencrypted by anyone without your key or password (image encrypted vs unencrypted).
